Construction Life is changing

New jobsite standards.jpg

The World has certainly had a wild start to Spring 2020!

Construction life— & really all ways of doing business— have & are definitely changing.

Many of our Naples Florida condominium associations have paused projects to limit the exposure to residents. Contractors are taking extra precautions with hand sanitizing, extra wash stations, & limiting amount of work men on site.

If you are a Florida Contractor yourself The National Association of Home Builders: NAHB as well as the Centers for Disease Control CDC has been a great resources for project signs & safety talks.

Our Zynda team has hope for the future & pray for everyone’s health & safety during this time— We look to the future in Collier County & will continue following our Federal & Local Municipalities direction— we are all in this together.

We are especially thankful for our local Men & Woman who are listed as critical & essential!

Be well & have hope!

Sincerely,

The Zynda Team

Prime Time: Summer 2020

Almost Last Call!

While vacationers are busy enjoying all that Collier County has to offer in the months of February & March— the Zynda crew is working hard to be prepared for our Summer 2020 remodels & projects. Our office is in full force putting together permit paperwork, job site books, & schedules for our site superintendents.

Whether your project is a kitchen, bath or full unit renovation it is never too early to start a plan!

We call these final months of season our “last call”—- in which we do our best to let owners, designers, & architects (both new & current) that our Summer 2020 schedule (prime time) is filling up FAST— & while we would like to accommodate ALL—- we also have to do what us best for our crew & current clients to produce a job well done!

We wish everyone a beautiful stay in Naples & Marco Island this season 2020—-& can’t wait to share all of our new & exciting projects that we will be working on!

Sitting here catching up on estimates and paperwork, I am reminded of our prior projects over the span of 2019. We are so THANKFUL for each awesome client who brought their sacred space to us (condo or home) & entrusted our crew with the task of making it from a house (or choppy living space) to a HOME! We know the whole process takes a lot of trust & we value that with high regard.

I really enjoy going to many of the condominiums in Naples & Marco Island — seeing the same familiar happy faces & excitedly sharing small stories of what has gone on in their families as well as ours throughout the year! Knowing that we provided a job well done for them, as well as their future generations, is our greatest satisfaction. There’s is no award given that is greater than that feeling.

While I’m always bummed to turn down a project due to time restraints or have a perspective project not go thru—- our ultimate focus is on quality & making sure you the signed client/our #1 priory is going to be happy for years to come. We always encourage clients (both old and new) to get on our list in the beginning of every year— as our schedule fills up fast for the summer.

We so look forward to ALL of which 2020 will bring for our company, our team, and our family—- We wish everyone a blessed and prosperous New Year & hope to work with you in the future!

Style meets function

I’m thinking of remodeling my condo where do I start?

Many potential clients will ask us this very question in initial meetings.

In my opinion the best way to start is for clients to write down a dream list of their needs for the space.

  • Is it more storage? Adding or deleting a tub? Adding another bedroom?

  • Pull pictures from home magazines— (one of our favorites is Naples Illustrated). What style or styles do you lean towards predominantly, is it modern, traditional, or coastal?

  • Are you thinking of aspects such as resale or aging in place?

Have you thought about your realistic budget and timeline this is also an important step. While we love watching Remodeling TV shows as well—- doing a project for $2,000 in 8 days just simply is not always going to be the case; especially in an-in depth renovations that requires permitting & scheduling.

  • Are you willing to break out your project in phases ie. have the builder work on bathrooms first and then the next summer dive into opening up a galley kitchen?

These are all important steps to consider and will make big differences in helping a homeowner in the seemingly daunting task of a remodel or renovation. Our team is ready to assist with writing your personalized project scope and directing you in the right direction!
